Which idols did stylists pick as the best fashionistas?
The February 28th episode of Y-Star‘s ‘GoongGeumTa‘ tackled this very topic as the show finally moved past looking at the fortunes of various celebrities, shifting their focus to fashion rankings.
Stylists were called onto the show to rank various idols on their everyday fashion sense. For the males, various members from eight boy bands including Super Junior, B2ST, MBLAQ, Big Bang, and SHINee were ranked. Out of the male idols, G-Dragon was ultimately chosen as the King of fashion. The stylists complimented on his own unique style and while some of his clothing may look bizarre to the masses, he still exudes confidence no matter what he wears.
For the females, various members from eight girl groups were judged including 2NE1, f(x), SISTAR,miss A, 4minute, and Girls’ Generation. In the end, Jessica was crowned the Queen of idol fashion with the stylists reasoning that she has her own charming fashion style and can look good in almost anything.

Two of K-Pop’s hottest idol stars, Big Bang’s’ G-Dragon and Girls’ Generation (SNSD)’s Jessica have been crowned fashion royalty.
Cable channel Y-Star is set to air a segment on idol star style called, ‘The King of Everyday Fashion.’ on an upcoming episode of Gung Geum Ta, where stylists will talk about their stylish idol star picks.
Among a list of eight nominees, including members from Super Junior, SHINee, B2ST, MBLAQ and more, G-Dragon rose to the top as the fashion king, while SNSD’ Jessica beat out eight nominees from girl groups 2NE1, f(x), 4minute, SISTAR and more to be crowned fashion queen.
G-Dragon is known for his fashion forward style on and off the stage, while Jessica’s chic street style has made many best-dressed lists.
The episode of Y-Star’s Gung Geum Ta is set to air on March 3.

Girls’ Generation’s Jessica’s latest photo for cosmetics brand, banila co., has been unveiled.
The photo is part of a pictorial for banila co.’s spring collection. As shown in the photo, Jessica appears fresh and feminine as she proudly shows off her flawless face. With light pink eyeshadows and lips, she looked like a lady of spring. Netizens were especially drawn to her dewy, glowing skin.
A representative of banila co. revealed, “The secret behind Jessica’s perfect complexion is our ‘It Radiant Foundation’ and our ‘It Radiant CC Cream.’ To cover Jessica’s yellowish tone and to create a brighter look, we used a BP15 color.”

On February 27, SBS’s entertainment news “Midnight TV Entertainment” covered the recent dating scandal between Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung and actor Jung Kyung Ho.
Jung Kyung Ho’s side made a report regarding the dating scandal. “It’s false. Since it’s not true, we don’t really care. However, Sooyoung is still young so we fear that she might be a victim [because of the scandal].”
The news clip also included Sooyoung’s side. An official explained, “We hear that they met at a church gathering. Sooyoung started acting since last year. We heard that he gave a lot of advices as a senior actor. That’s how they got close, but they’re not dating.”
The same individual continued, “Sooyoung has an outgoing and easy-going personality. That’s probably why she’s misunderstood by the people around her. She also thinks that she probably has to be more careful because of her extroverted personality.”
When asked why Sooyoung’s being involved in a couple dating rumors in a short period when the other members’ private lives aren’t as exposed, the official remarked, “It’s probably because she’s becoming popular.”
