Taeyeon Shares: “I’m Super Lonely”

We have a lonely idol on our hands. Is her loneliness a result of her great popularity?

Currently promoting the title track “I Got a Boy” with Girls’ Generation, Taeyeon made a special appearance on KBS’s music talk show “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.”

MC Yoo Hee Yeol gave several statements where the members had to quickly give an answer. When he stated “I’m super lonely,” Taeyeon answered that she is indeed super lonely.

She explained, “After I finish my schedules and go home, I feel super lonely and don’t know how I should go about dealing with it.” When the MC made another statement, “I cried recently,” Taeyeon said she didn’t while the other members agreed.

Tiffany shared, “I was talking to the members about something upsetting when I suddenly burst into tears. However, I think that it’s fortunate I have members where I can share my hardships.”

This episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” will be broadcasted on January 19 at 12:20am (KST).

Hyoyeon and Yoona Talk About The Peak of Their Careers

As far as SNSD’s Hyoyeon and Yoon are concerned, their respective peaks have already passed.

In the January 17 episode of KBS’ Happy Together, the two SNSD members opened up on when they considered their prime to be.

Hyoyeon responded, “I’m not sure when my peak was but I think I only had popularity when I was a trainee.”

To this, Yoona divulged, “When Hyoyeon was a trainee, she was a celebrity. She had fans even as a trainee.”

Hyoyeon then said, “I debuted after a long period of training but I didn’t receive as much popularity as my trainee days. But I tell myself the problem is not due to a lack of skills.”

When asked then by the MCs what they thought was the problem, she waved a hand around her face, indicating she thought it was because of her looks.

Asked the same question, Yoona responded, “I think it was when we were promoting Gee. I think I was fresh and pretty then.” She also added she received a lot of love and attention when acting in the drama You Are My Destiny.

Yuri picked SNSD’s Genie promotion days as her answer saying, “I think I received a great part with great choreography.”

SNSD, Reason of Giving up High Heels...

The reason why SNSD has given up with the high heels was recently unleashed.

On 9th January, a special exclusive SNSD interview for the current comeback with the 4th full length album ‘I Got a Boy’ was carried out at SBS ‘One Night of TV Entertainment’.

‘I Got a Boy’, the title song for this time album, has been recognized as a song that stands out the powerful performance, breaking away the girls’ usual image.

Responding to this issue, Sunny stated, “SNSD is nearly getting into the 6th anniversary of debut. Apart from SNSD’s ordinary concept, we can feel a bit contrarily for this output.”

In addition, Sooyoung said, “We have wondered how the responds would be as the song is newly made and the performance is quite different, but after the release, it seems to be receiving much love despite the likes and dislikes.”

Mentioning the attempt for this inexperienced choreograph, Hyoyeon told, “I was shocked right after we learnt about choreograph,” she continued, “I was considerably wondering whether we could absorb this powerful and strong dance moves well or not.”

Tiffany added, “After the observance of choreograph, we came up with a convincing insistent to the company that we are not going to wear high heels for this challenge. We decided to give up with the high heels in the purpose of concentrating more on the perfection of performance.”

Noticeably, the girls’ new title song ‘I Got a Boy’ has been broadening its popularity through the various K-charts domination.
