Sunny Reprises Her Role as ‘Brenda’ in the Musical ‘Catch Me If You Can’
Sunny has returned as “Brenda” for a second run of the musical “Catch Me If You Can”. Her first performance was met with several wreaths and a generous rice donation.
The wreath from Girls’ Generation starts with, “Soonkyu’s cuties, Girls’ Generation bbuing bbuing”, reminding everyone of Sunny’s infamous aegyo. The hangul of “Girls’ Generation” is written as “소 ㄴ 녀시대”, which is a pun that means “Granddaughters’ Generation”. The members are making a reference to the wreath they sent for the first run of the musical, in which they used the nickname “60Sunny“. The second ribbon finishes the message by using a play on the girls’ hit song, “Run Devil Run”: “OH The one even greater than them, Kyurenda returns OH”.
Another wreath was sent by usnthem, a Korean Girls’ Generation fan-club.The message says, “Our Sunny’s confidence is tall, and her self-conviction is tall, too.” Then it adds, “As for height, this tree is ta—ller [for her] instead”. Fan-clubs also donated rice in celebration of Sunny’s first performance, amounting to a grand total of 1,676 kilograms.

Sunny, the resident energy pill of Girls’ Generation, shared with the fans 6 adorable pictures of her doing what she does best: aegyo!
On December 13, her 6 aegyo combo set was posted on Girls’ Generation’s official homepage with the message “It’s been a long time since Kyu-renda~! Everyone’s going to come and watch the new Brenda, right?” Their official facebook page included a caption in English for their foreign fans, “Sunny will be playing a role of ‘Brenda’ in the musical ‘Catch Me if You Can.’”
The 6 pictures show Sunny making different poses using “Catch Me If You Can” posters as props. Her aegyo is intensified with her cute pink ribbon and her cute dresses.
Sunny is currently performing in the musical “Catch Me If You Can” as Brenda. The musical is from December 14 to February 9 at Seongnam Art Center Opera House. Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and SHINee’s Key are also participating in the musical.

According to various media reporters , K-pop girl group, SNSD is making a comeback with the new album in next year. However, until now, the exact date is still in the process of arbitration.
On 11th, SNSD's agency stated that, "It is true that SNSD's 4th album preparation is nearly wrapped up, but no confirmation has been made regard whether it is going to be released on January or other months. As we are getting ready, the date will be simply mediated."
Noticeably, the release of SNSD's 2nd full Japanese album has just taken place on last November. Responding to this issue, the spokesman added, "Lately, the girls has started the album promotion activities at Japan. They are, consequently, expected to work off together along with the Korean album promotion."
