Jessica Sings For a 20 Billion Won Drama !
Jessica from Girls’ Generation will lend her voice to a 20 billion won (approx. 17.37 million dollars) drama.
The KBS blockbuster drama, “The Great King’s Dream,” will broadcast the first episode on September 8 and it’s been revealed that her soundtrack “Heart Road” is the main title song. She has recently finished recording the track and this will mark her debut into historical drama O.S.T genre.
“Heart Road” is composed by none other than Kim Jun Bum who previously penned Taeyeon’s “If” for the historical drama “Hong Gil Dong,” and music director Lee Chang Hee. A grand 40-member chorus was involved in the recording to match the epicness of the drama. Their grandness will mesh beautifully with Jessica’s bright and high tone.
On September 2, a minute of “Heart Road” was revealed during the broadcast of “The Great King’s Dream” special. It’s interesting to note that just Jessica’s singing portion of the broadcast is circulating around the internet showing her great popularity and high anticipation for the song.
“Heart Road” will be released on music sites on September 7 at noon.

YoonA spotted attending classes at Dongguk University
YoonA was recently spotted attending classes at Dongguk University. A set of photos surfaced on an online community on September 5th titled, ‘YoonA At Dongguk University Today‘.
YoonA started attending Dongguk University’s Acting and Cinema program in 2009 and is known to attend classes whenever she has time off of her busy idol schedule.
The idol star attracted even more attention because she went to class straight from the ‘Fresh Look Illuminate’ event at ‘The Banyan Tree’ in Seoul, still sporting the outfit and hairstyle from the event. She fit right in at the school’s dining hall as she chatted with the other students.
Upon seeing the photos netizens commented, “She’s a true goddess!“, “It looks like she went straight to school from an event“, “I’m so jealous of the students who saw YoonA“, “She has golden proportions with doll-like features“, and “She works hard to attend classes too“.

Taeyeon’s ‘Close’ Music Video for ‘To The Beautiful You’ OST Released
Taeyeon’s song “Close” for the “To The Beautiful You” OST is now officially released. It can be downloaded from various online music sites, including MelOn (one-minute preview) and Bugs!.
SM Entertainment also released a music video for Taeyeon’s song that features moving scenes from the drama fitting for Taeyeon’s expressive and emotional track.

Girls’ Generation Releases Second Japan Tour Schedule
Girls’ Generation’s Japanese fansite has released the official schedule for Girls’ Generation’s second Japanese tour, which will visit six different cities for a total of fourteen concerts between February 9th and and April 10th. Tickets for the concerts will cost 9,500 yen and will also include penlights. Registration for Girls’ Generation’s fanclub in Japan has also begun, and members of the fanclub will receive priority applications for tickets to the concert tour.

Taeyeon to Release ‘Close’ for ‘To The Beautiful You’ Drama OST
Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and The Grace’s Dana will be the next artists from SM Entertainment to release songs for the OST of “To The Beautiful You”. Taeyeon’s track, “Close”, which will be released on September 5th at 12 PM noon, is a beautifully written song with a lyrical melody about a person promising eternal love to their loved one. The Grace’s Dana will release a song called “Perhaps We”, which will be used as the theme song for Kim Jiwon’s character, Seol Hanna.
“To The Beautiful You” is a drama centering around a high school romance between a girl named Goo Jaehee, played by f(x)’s Sulli, who disguises as a man to meet high jump gold medalist Kang Taejoon, played by SHINee’s Minho, in a boys-only high school. Other SM Entertainment artists have already contributed to the OST, including Jessica and f(x)’s Krystal with “Butterfly”, Sunny and f(x)’s Luna with “나야 (It’s Me)”, and Tiffany and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun with “To The Beautiful You”.
“Close” will be available from various online music sites, including MelOn, Bugs, and Genie.

Photographs from an advertisement photo shoot for brand Llang featuring Girls’ Generation member Choi Soo Young have been released.
Girls’ Generation member and actress Choi Soo Young was selected as the model for the Eastern clinic makeup brand Llang. The photographs for the new product advertisement displayed her “honey skin” and the untouched photographs were eye-catching.
A Llang brand representative said: “Choi Soo Young was applauded by the staff members for perfectly expressing diverse facial expressions that matched the advertisement’s concept,” and also added, “Even though she had to be at the shoot until a late hour, Choi Soo Young, without expressing any other feelings, she lit up the photo shoot with her uniquely bright smile.”
Girls’ Generation’s Choi Soo Young’s first drama, the cable channel tvN’s medical drama “The Third Hospital,” will premiere on September 5. The medical drama will also show 4minute member Nam Ji Hyun in a guest spot as a patient.
