YoonA’s Love Rain VS Yuri’s Fashion King – Tiffany's choice?
Girls’ Generation made a guest appearance in “Happy Together” to tell their interesting stories.
The KBS’s “Happy Together” aired on May 10th, 2012 had the theme of “Girls’ Generation vs Funny Times”, and SNSD’s Jessica, Taeyeon and Tiffany were invited to star as guests in the program. In addition, during the filming, YoonA made a surprise visit, giving audience a pleasant surprise. Turned out YoonA specially came to the filming set while she was filming “Love Rain” for the sake of other members.
Although it was a surprise visit, but YoonA was not restrained, and even danced hilariously with the comedians, showing her entertainment skills. In addition, she also told the behind the scene story of the kiss scene with Jang Geun Suk.
Tiffany who was guest-starring was asked which drama among “Love Rain” starring YoonA and “Fashion King” starring Yuri which broadcast at the same time slot would she chose. She said frankly that she watched the TV series starring by Yuri. Jessica also said, “The drama series starring by YoonA and Yuri air on the same time, we’re forced to change channel to watch frequently, as the result, we’re not so clear on the content of the two dramas.” But Tiffany answered, “I watched drama starring Yuri. Yuri seems like not so heavy on schedule, she always at home, and at 10pm, she begins to watch her own drama, so I also have to follow her to watch.”

TaeTiSeo’s new song downloaded over 600,000 times
SNSD’s unit group TaeTiSeo has ranked at the top of a download chart.
According to Gaon Chart on May 10, the title track of TaeTiSeo’s first mini-album, “Twinkle,” was at the top of a download chart for the second week of May.
The music chart says, “The number of downloading for TaeTiSeo’s ‘Twinkle’ reaches 604,870.”
The group has already grabbed attention for being the first unit group of SNSD. It continues to build reputation with its sophisticated, soulful dance song by giving more emphasis on each member’s distinctive voice.
Last week, Park Jin Young ranked at the top of the download chart leaving “idol” singers behind him. However, he was placed second this week with his new song “You’re the One.” Weekly download hits for this song record 320,845.
His previous song, “Someone Else,” which ranked first last week dropped to sixth with 220,231 hits on download.
IU’s pre-released single “Peach” made its way to the third with the number of 293,888 on download. It became very popular because the singer herself composed it. On the 11th of May, she will release her single Spring of a Twenty-Year-Old.
Ivy’s “Torn Heart” was on the ninth last week, but it went up five rankings to the fourth. Its download hits marked 276,535. The fifth, seventh, and eighth were followed by Sistar’s “Alone” (270,089 downloads), December’s new track “She’s Gone” (204,109 downloads), and Busker Busker’s “Cherry Blossom Ending” (190,404 downloads).
In the meantime, the top ranking of the album chart for April belongs to the rookie group of SM Entertainment, EXO-K; its first mini-album Mama sold over 61,333 copies. The other team EXO-M’s Mama ranked sixth with the sales record of 32,022 copies.
Girls’ Generation’s Jessica embarrassed by her throw for the opening pitch of a baseball game
Girls’ Generation member Jessica recently experienced a somewhat embarrassing moment at a baseball game while throwing the first pitch.
On May 11th, Jessica attended the ‘2012 Paldo Pro Baseball‘ event to throw the opening pitch between LG Twins and Samsung Lions.
As expected, fans and players were immediately charmed by the entrance of Jessica, as she greeted everyone with a big smile. The idol bowed several times, before getting into position. When the time came, Jessica showed off a solid stance as she got ready to launch the ball towards the catcher.
Unfortunately, things didn’t work out quite as she intended. As soon as the ball left Jessica’s hands, it immediately headed towards the ground, only to bounce and roll off much to her embarrassment.
With her face turning slightly red, Jessica laughed at her mis-throw while still remembering to take a bow. Viewers laughed at her helplessness and commented, “She had a really good stance, but the throw was….err..”, “She must have been really embarrassed“, and “Ah! so cute, i love her dorky character“.

Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon & Kim Hyung Suk impress with “Love Potion No. 9″ on ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon once again proved herself to be a true dancing queen.
On the May 11th broadcast of MBC TV‘s ‘Dancing With The Stars‘, Hyoyeon and her partner Kim Hyung Suk danced to “Love Potion No. 9“.
With their powerful jive, they drew attention for their performance that was on par with the Choi Yeo Jinand Park Ji Woo couple. Both Hyoyeon and Kim Hyung Suk earned a total of 21 points from the judges.
The judges on the show include Korea Musical Association’s director Song Seung Hwan, World Dancesport Federation’s international referee Alex Kim, and prima ballerina Kim Joo Won.

Taeyeon, Jessica, and Tiffany reveal the truth behind Girls’ Generation’s weight and meal plans!
On May 10th, Tiffany, Taeyeon, and Jessica opened up about Girls’ Generation‘s meal plans and the truth about the weights and heights listed on their profiles on KBS‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘.
The trio was asked to name a member who had a different weight than listed on her profile. The members replied honestly that Sooyoung, standing at 5’6″ (170 cm) tall, weighs at 106 pounds (48 kg), while YoonA, at 5’5″ (168 cm), weighs 48 kg as well.
Jessica and Taeyeon confessed, “Our profiles say we weigh 99 pounds (45 kg), but it’s actually give or take one or two kg.” Tiffany added, “I’m honestly at around 101 to 103.6 pounds (46 to 47 kg).”
When asked how they maintained their weight, Taeyeon replied, “We don’t go on any special diets. I think our natural diets adjusted to our promotional cycles. We also don’t take time off to exercise. We’d probably faint while running.”
On the topic of the group’s meal plans, Tiffany stated, “The meal plan that headlined in the media is only for the members who work out actively. It’s not for all of us. They’re usually only for the members who are doing extra activities like dramas to maintain a certain image. If all of us ate like that, it’d be difficult to promote at the level that we do.”
