GIRLS’ GENERATION – TTS ranked at 4th with the mini album ‘Twinkle’ on iTunes album chat in the United States as the first Korean artist.
The mini album ‘Twinkle’ released on the 29th at 00:00 a.m. took the 4th place on iTunes album chart in the United States and GIRLS’ GENERATION-TTS became the first Korean artist to enter TOP5 on iTunes album chart in the United States.
In addition, the album also took the 2nd place on the pop section of iTunes album chart in the United States following a famous British pop star ‘ADELE’ and the album entered the upper ranks of the charts in Japan, Canada, Australia, U.K., Spain, etc. as well.
Also, the title song ‘Twinkle’ released on the 29th at 00:00 a.m. topped both real-time and daily charts of all music websites in Korea including Genie, Melon, NAVER MUSIC, etc.
Moreover, each member’s teaser videos received over 10,000,000 views in total only four days after its release and the teaser videos of three members ranked 1st or 2nd on the today’s ‘Most Viewed Videos’ of YouTube worldwide chart. And also, the teaser videos of Taeyeon and Tiffany were in 4th place and 6th place respectively on this week’s ‘Most Viewed Video’s of YouTube worldwide chart (4/23 ~ 4/29).
Especially, the music video of the title song ‘Twinkle,’ in which KAI, CHAN YEOL, SE HUN and BAEK HYUN from EXO-K made cameo appearance, will be released on the 30th (today) so it is expected to draw the attention from global music fans.
Meanwhile, all tracks of the mini album were released on music websites in Korea on the 30th at 00:00 a.m. and the album will also be available in stores from May 2nd.
