Yuri Thanks Ha Jung Woo for His Support
Leaving the ‘girl’ in Girls’ Generation (SNSD) behind, Yuri turned into a beautiful and elegant lady in the recent edition of Harper’s Bazaar.
The fashion magazine introduced Yuri in a set of black and white photos of the singer-turned-actress wearing a simple one shoulder-bearing party dress. Her expressions oozed out the paradox of charisma, sexiness and innocence, and the singer appeared more mature than ever.
In the interview held by Harper’s Bazaar, Yuri talked a bit about her first acting experience in SBS’ Fashion King, which closed its curtains a while back.
“It was a little burdensome since there were expectations made based on the SNSD title. It is hard to put everything down, but it’s the right thing to do,” she said, “I first tried to analyze the character of Choi Anna, but later just tried to find a similarity between us.”
On working with other talented actors, she said, “When I reached out to the other actors first, they, in return, gave me a lot of help.”
She especially wanted to take a moment to thank actor Ha Jung Woo.
“Ha Jung Woo, who is my university senior, told me, ‘Take in everything as an experience where you learn as you have fun.’ Now that the drama is over, I completely understand what that means.”
