Girls Generation named the queen of all girls groups.

The power of Korean girls groups have been growing stronger in the Kpop industry. Recently, a Korean online community has pulled a poll on which girls groups being the most popular based on the numbers of their fan club registration.

According to sources, Girls Generation is named the absolute winner on this; their fan club, “SONE” has a record of 285000 registrations. The only fan club could be compatible with this number is Super Junior’s ELF. Runner up would be Wonder Girls, which their fan club is recorded to have 96000 registrations. Wonder Girls will be opened up to the oversea market, which should expect a bigger population to join their fan club in the future.

2NE1 took the third place with a number of about 90000 more fan club registrations. It marks quite a success for 2NE1 because they debuted two years later than Girls Generation and Wonder Girls. The other girls groups got into top 10 are the following: f(x) with 65000 registrations, Kara (53000 registrations), Brown Eyed Girls (42000 registrations) followed by 4minute and Miss A, they both ranked at number seven on the poll, each fan club has the number of approximately 32000 registrations.

What surprised the public the most is the rather new girl group, A pink, they gathered 30000 registrations for such a short period of time since debut. And on the other hand, T-ara was not on the top 10 list even though they are one of the most popular girl groups because their fan club was once disbanded and lately their new official fan club is opened up for registration, soon they will be ranked within the top 10. After School ranked number 10 with 20000 registrations.
