[BTS] Jessica’s Photoshoot for the September Issue of ‘W Korea’ Released

Jessica is featured in the September issue of “W Korea” magazine, continuing her career as not only a singer in Girls’ Generation, but also as a model. The official YouTube channel for the magazine released behind-the-scenes footage of what’s in store for the issue.

In the video, Jessica can be seen in different outfits portraying various concepts and emotions, many of which display her stunning beauty and mature style. The director revealed, “The concept for this photoshoot was to bring the ‘scent of a woman’ out of Jessica. We coordinated her outfits with jewelry for the main theme of the photoshoot. For example, we had a black and white outfit with a color red as the point.”

This is not the first time Jessica has been featured in “W Korea”, and each feature has been nothing short of breath-taking. The September issue of “W Korea” is now on sale, so make sure to keep an eye out for the magazine.

Hyoyeon Gets Mistaken for a Foreigner by Korean Citizen

Widely known as one of the most popular Girls′ Generation members overseas, Hyoyeon may have found the reason for her fame.

In the August 18 broadcast of KBS’ Invincible Youth 2, the group divided into two teams and were tasked with showing foreigners from abroad around in some of Korea’s tourist places.

Hyoyeon’s team was tasked with heading to a palace in Seoul which was formally known as ‘Gyungwoon Palace’ which the team figured out to be Deoksu Palace.

There, one regular passer-by seemed to not recognize Hyoyeon as he approached her and asked in English, “Where are you from?”, creating a rather unusual and awkward moment.

A taken aback Hyoyeon was then seen responding, “I’m a Korean!”

The passer-by was seen making a bashful face while Hyoyeon began fleeing the scene while saying, “I’m so embarrassed!” much to the laughter of her peers.

Girls’ Generation: A Fresh Look into Their Debut Days

Girls’ Generation during their true “girl years” is pretty fascinating to reminisce.

Recently, an online community board released a video about Girls’ Generation practicing for their debut song, “Into the New World.”

It is amazing that the Girls have earned international recognition in just six years in the industry. However, their success seems well-earned through countless hours of training before debut. In the video, we get a glimpse of the effort put forth when they had been quite young.

The Girls simply fill the video with their youthful aura. They are mostly clad in mini-skirts or short shorts, matched with white sneakers. Like any other trainee in the K-pop industry, they are intensely rehearsing the moves for their upcoming debut. Their adolescent faces are especially eye-catching, as avid fans recognize the gradual transformation the Girls will be going through with each release of a new album. What we know them as now, mature and sexy, seems to contrast with their debut years filled with youth and unreserved energy.
