SNSD’s Album Medley Preview to Be Released Today (Dec 31)
With just a day left before the big release of SNSD’s fourth studio album, more details on the heavily anticipated album are coming to light.
On the afternoon of December 31, via the SM Entertainment YouTube channel, Naver and the official SNSD homepage, a highlight medley of SNSD’s upcoming I Got A Boy album will be unveiled.
SNSD will be attempting a wide variety of genres through the new album including dance, ballad, retro pop, swing jazz and more.
The album is backed by a long list of renowned composers and producers including the famous European composition team, Design Music and British singer-songwriter Pixie Lott.
Others taking part in the new album are Joe Belmaati, Yoo Young Jin, Kenzie, Park Chang Hyun and more.
Some of the SNSD members will also be displaying their lyrical composition skills through tracks like the love song, Baby Maybe, composed by Pixie Lott and lyricized by Sooyoung, Yuri, and Seohyun.
In the synthesizer-heavy, XYZ, Yuri and Seohyun are also credited with writing the song’s lyrics.
Other tracks include the Tiffany-Taeyeon duet song Glass Child, the Korean version of Boomerang- which was originally found in SNSD’s second Japanese album- the ballad song Promise, the retro pop track Express 999, Look at Me, and the jazz swing track Nangman Gil.
The full album will be unveiled online on January 1 at 5 p.m. (KST) while MBC will air later in the same day at 11:15 p.m. the SNSD comeback special SNSD’s Romantic Fantasy.
