Girls’ Generation to Record for and Appear in Upcoming Radio and Television Shows
As part of promotions for “I Got A Boy”, Girls’ Generation is scheduled to make appearances on and record for several upcoming radio and television shows this week.
On January 14th, Taeyeon, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, and Yuri appeared in a prerecorded segment on KBS CoolFM’s “Gayo Plaza”, a radio show hosted by Kim Bumsoo. The member talked about the “I Got A Boy” album and revealed the songs that they are most attached to out of all their albums. Also on January 14th, Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, and Yoona appeared on KBS’s “Hello”, a fun program where the members listened to and commented on stories from everyday people invited onto the show. Recorded on January 6th, “Hello” featured a young girl, a woman whose husband made her wear couple outfits for ten years, a teenager whose brother’s friends make a mess whenever they visit but never clean, and a man whose wife refuses to spend new bills. Today, January 15th, Girls’ Generation is scheduled to make several back-to-back appearances on different radio shows, starting with “Boom’s Young Street Radio” on SBS Power FM at 8:00 PM KST. Jessica, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, and Yoona will then appear on MBC FM’s “Younha’s Starry Night Radio” at 10:05 PM KST, and Taeyeon and Tiffany will be special DJs on “Shindong’s Shimshim Tapa Radio” at 12:05 AM. Girls’ Generation will also record an appearance for “Yoo Heeyeol’s Sketchbook” on KBS.
Tomorrow, January 16th, Taeyeon, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, and Yuri are scheduled to be guests on “Yoon Seyoon and Muzie’s ChinChin Radio” on MBC FM4U, while on January 17th, “Happy Together” will air an episode recorded on January 12th with Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Yoona. Also on January 17th, all nine members of Girls’ Generation will record a special episode for SBS’s “Strong Heart”, which will serve as the show’s finale. On January 18th, Girls’ Generation will appear on “Jung Sunhee’s A Night Like Tonight” radio on SBS Power FM at 12 AM.
In addition to these special appearances and recordings, Girls’ Generation will continue promoting “I Got A Boy” throughout the week on music shows, Jessica and Sunny will perform in their musicals, “Legally Blonde” and “Catch Me If You Can”, on January 16th, and Sooyoung will continue her role as an MC on SBS’s “Midnight TV Entertainment”.
Finally, Girls’ Generation will conclude their busy week by traveling to the Philippines to perform in the “Dream KPOP Fantasy Concert“, which will take place on January 19th.
