Fans Storm the Macau Ferry Wharf for SNSD

With hundreds and hundreds of fans screaming their names, the Girls’ Generation (SNSD) members halted activities at the Macau ferry terminal.

On July 1, SNSD arrived in Macau for MBC’s K-POP Nation Concert in Macau 2012, where the group, along with SHINee, U-Kiss, and B.A.P are scheduled to perform on the evening of July 2.

Hundreds of fans waited at the terminal, cheering and shouting for SNSD when the girls became visible.

The members waved enthusiastically to fans. With the unexpected amount of fans that showed, extra hands were needed for security.

It was said that a group of fans were waiting for SNSD at the Macau airport due to false information of SNSD′s arrival, confirming SNSD′s global popularity.

An event coordinator from MBC Plus Media said, “With the incredible popularity of not just SNSD, but hallyu idols as well, we will do our best to put on a worthwhile performance.”

The concert will take place on July 2 at the Venetian Macau-Resort hotel.
