Currently representing ‘DOUBLE-M’ fashion bags, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung has been chosen as one of the 100 muses for fashion magazine ‘W Korea’.

‘W Korea’ recently released their 100th anniversary issue titled ‘100 Brands, 100 Goddesses’, with Girls’ Generation Sooyoung involved in one of the photo shoots. It shows Sooyoung in a mysterious mood carrying a cool blue colored bag under ‘DOUBLE-M’ brand.

Sooyoung’s full photo shoot can be viewed in the June issue of ‘W Korea’, while BTS video footage can be viewed through DOUBLE-M’s official website and Facebook page.

YoonA celebrated her birthday today and the Girls' Generation members got together to wish her a happy birthday!

YoonA turned 23 (24 Korean Age) on May 30 (KST), and the girls threw a party complete with cake and champagne. Taeyeon posted photos onto her Instagram, writing, "YoonA, unni loves you a lot #happyYOONAsday". She posted a second photo of the party and wrote, "The 9 of us are always together. Girls' Generation can't do anything else ^^ It's just that I don't have good pictures."

Sooyoung recently revealed which Girls' Generation member she would like to invite to her new drama.

Since Sooyoung plays a girl who 'manipulates' love in her newest tvN drama 'Dating Agency', she chose Seohyun as the one who she wanted to 'manipulate' love for!

On May 22, the cast of 'Dating Agency' held a press conference at the Seoul Patio Nine, and Sooyoung was asked, "Do you have someone who you want to 'manipulate' love for?". She didn't hesitate even for a moment and said, "Seohyun."

She reasoned, "She's really interested in the script for this drama. It's time for the maknae to start dating. She's very innocent, so I think it'll be fun to 'manipulate' love for her, and she'll take everything in stride."

She also added that she hoped Seohyun could make a cameo appearance on the show. Seohyun wasn't on the star-studded cameo list, but don't lose hope yet, the drama will start airing on May 27.

At the May 22 press conference for the upcoming tvN drama “Dating Agency: Cyrano,” lead Lee Chun Hee confessed he lost weight because of Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung.

He said, “When we were doing the poster shoot, I looked chubby standing next to Sooyoung. In truth, I did gain weight after marrying. I thought, ‘This isn’t good,’ and started to lose weight, currently having lost 8kg.”

The members of Girls' Generation subunit TaeTiSeo got together to support their member Sooyoung and her drama, tvN's 'Dating Agency: Cyrano'.

Taeyeon shared the photo above on Instagram with the caption, "Our Sooyoung is working hard until late. Lee Jong Hyung. The atmosphere on set is good as well. Dating Agency: Cyrano is the best. #GongMinyoung."

Sooyoung's co-star, actor Lee Jong Hyuk, seems to have wanted to let people know that he got to meet up with Tiffany, Seohyun, and Taeyeon, and who can blame him? Hyoyeon was recently chosen as the newest Asian ambassador for the Hong Kong branch of Topshop, a popular women’s fashion brand. The news was revealed on both the company’s official Facebook page and Instagram account. Topshop released various new pictures of Hyoyeon modeling its clothing while also revealing specifically in one caption, “Check it. Kim Hyoyeon looking sleek as an Asian ambassador for our opening June 6th!”

To go along with the new pictures, two short interviews with Hyoyeon were also released by Apple Daily, a Hong Kong publication.

Apple Daily: Why did you decide to work together today?

Hyoyeon: It’s probably because of my fickle and lively image. I can be sexy, cool, luxurious, boyish and simple, which is similar to the styles Topshop has.

Apple Daily: What products have you bought from Topshop?

Hyoyeon: Every time I go to Japan I’ll purposely go to Topshop Tokyo to shop. I like buying jewelery the most, especially large pieces that are almost on the verge of funky.

Apple Daily: How are Korean girls better in their dressing?

Hyoyeon: They seldom wear sexy clothes, and all love carrying big handbags as well as wearing scarves. The whole appearance is mostly simple.

Apple Daily: Do you like Hong Kong guys?

Hyoyeon: Haha, I still haven’t come across many. However, Hong Kong guys are more fashionable. For example, some Korean guys dress in a more feminine style, whereas Hong Kong guys know how to dress well. They have a bit more fashion sense.

Hyoyeon also took part in another short interview to introduce herself as the new ambassador for Topshop. She first greeted viewers in Chinese and then went on to say, in Korean, “Whether because of our concept or activities, I went to Topshop in Japan a lot. Whenever I go, I like the jackets a lot and what I especially buy a lot are accessories, since I really like fancy accessories. I like such accessories a lot, and for makeup, I buy a lot of gel-liner. What else is there…so whenever I have the time I always make sure to stop by at Topshop and buy pretty clothes.”
