Jessica Expresses Her True Feelings about Her "Ice Princess" Nickname and Image
Girls’ Generation’s Jessica guested on yesterday’s episode of tvN’s “Taxi,” marking her first solo variety show appearance since her debut. Dressed in a beautiful hot pink blouse, she broke her ice princess image and replaced it with a cute, bubbly girl.
During the episode, Jessica revealed her true feelings about her nickname and image as “ice princess.” She started, “I don’t really like talking about it much. I can’t seem to get it straight myself. That’s why I felt uncomfortable appearing in variety shows.” Jessica continued, “I’m frequently described as ‘chic,’ but I think people say that based on my appearance only. Some people also say that I’m a heodang (term used to describe someone who seems perfect, but actually isn’t; can also mean clumsy and clueless). A lot of people think I don’t have any concerns or worries, but that’s not it. I actually think about them a lot.”
Jessica also showed off her aegyo, adorably saying “Ah ing~~” whenever she was embarrassed or nervous. Meanwhile, Super Junior’s Sungmin and f(x)’s Luna made surprise guest appearances on the show.

Jessica opened up about her fellow members.
Super Junior‘s Sungmin, f(x)‘s Luna, and Girls’ Generation’s Jessica were all guests on the May 17th episode of tvN‘s ‘TAXI‘.
Jessica who has up until now been known to be an ‘ice queen’ proved that she can be outgoing and witty as well. She revealed who she thought to be the prettiest member of Girls’ Generation, the member who she thought would marry the earliest, and displayed her honest nature when answering questions that the viewers had sent in.
The singer was asked which member of Girls’ Generation she felt was the prettiest, and she answered that it changes depending on the day. Jessica was then asked who was the prettiest on that particular day, and she responded, “Well… I’m the only one that got my makeup done today” somewhat implying that it was actually herself.
She also selected Sunny as the member who she thinks will get married first amongst the girls.
MC Gong Hyung Jin who is known to be an ‘uncle fan’ of Girls’ Generation could not stop smiling throughout the episode, and created an optimally comfortable atmosphere, making it easy for Jessica who is intimidated by talk shows to easily open up.
Jessica along with Sungmin and Luna also opened up about the sweat and tears they had to shed to become one of the hottest Hallyu idols today.

Just kidding! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ! However it does look like the Dork-master is missing! From the previous selcas, it has always been together with the Trio however today it looks like Taeyeon is out of the picture and replaced with a man! In a recent Selca, Tiffany and Seohyun while in their ‘Twinkle’ outfits, took a photo with the CEO of ‘Loveview Music’, JQ. Nonetheless, with a smile fused onto their face and a loving V-sign, our new ‘Trio’ looks super happy.

Girls’ Generation – TTS Appears on ‘Hello’
In the episode, Taeyeon’s interest in basic comedy was brought to light when she burst into laughter at MC Shin Dongyup’s comment, “I didn’t fart”, when he introduced the story of Ga Jungdae, a man who is accused of “things” because he can’t smell.
Ga Jundgae, who says he “has trouble living an ordinary life” because he cannot smell the foulest of things, mentioned that he doesn’t shower because he can’t smell himself, but “other people feel uncomfortable” because of his smell. This prompted comments from the MCs about farts throughout the program and brought attention to Taeyeon, who laughed every time the word was mentioned. Tiffany showed Taeyeon’s love for basic comedy by saying, “If you talk about farts, Taeyeon will continue to laugh. She likes dirty topics in particular.” Taeyeon herself added, while laughing, “Out of fart stories, poop farts are the funniest,” causing the entire studio to erupt with laughter.
Continuing with the foul-smelling theme, some of the world’s foulest-smelling food was prepared, causing pandemonium in the studio. Foods such as fermented tofu from China, and surströmming, a type of soured herring from Sweden, were tasted by the MCs, stunning them, but the smell proved too much for Tiffany. She stated, “I’m sensitive when it comes to smells, so I would like to ask for deodorizer,” before leaving the set with a scrunched up face to the top of the slide, saying that she couldn’t take the smell anymore. Ga Jungdae, however, when tasting the food, simply said it was salty, completely unbothered by the smell.
After trying some of the smelly food, Lee Youngja introduced a story titled “Girlfriend Who Gained 30kg From Eating Bread”, which led to questions on the highly-talked about “Girls’ Generation Diet Menu”. After Lee Youngja shook her head, stating that she “just can’t understand that”, Tiffany replied that the girls themselves were just as surprised. The menu, which listed eight cherry tomatoes and six strawberries, was completely dismissed by Tiffany, who said that Girls’ Generation “can’t promote if [we] eat like that.” When asked about their favourite foods, Taeyeon replied that Tiffany is “crazy for unagi”, a freshwater eel, causing Tiffany to laugh shyly.

Jessica Predicted in 2010 Jung Hyung Don Would Have Twins?
Girls’ Generation (SNSD)’s Jessica may not be the most apt at pitching a baseball but she may have an eerie talent for being able to predict the future.
On May 17, a posting was made on an online community board titled, “SNSD’s Jessica who predicted Jung Hyung Don’s twin children.”
In it were screen captures from a joint Jessica and Jung Hyung Don appearance on the 2010 KBS variety program, Happy Birthday, which focused on encouraging parents to have kids, in light of Korea’s low birth rate.
During the episode, the then-newlywed Jung Hyung Don received many questions about his future plans with his wife on having kids.
Among the comments made by the episode′s guests, SNSD’s Jessica jokingly told Jung Hyung Don, “You will have twins,” but her joke in the past transformed into reality as Jung Hyung Don recently announced that he would become the father of twins.
Netizens showed their reaction to the eerie revelation by responding, “Jessica should open a fortune-telling shop”, “She said it as a joke but who knew it would come true?” and “Congratulations again to Jung Hyun Don.”

From May 10th to 16th, the online music site, Monkey3, ran a poll asking their users “Which idol do you think will also be a good vocal teacher?” and first place went to Girls’ Generation lead vocalist Taeyeon, who gained 43% of the total votes (153 votes out of 357 participants).
As the lead vocal for Girls’ Generation and also a member of the current unit TTS, Taeyeon is well-known for having the best vocals out of the idol groups. People who took part in the poll left such comments, “Not only does Taeyeon have a great voice, but she also sings with such emotions and expresses the songs so well”, and “Because she has great basics and can cover a wide range of music genres, I think she could be a great teacher”.
After Taeyeon, Sistar’s Hyorin came in second place with 13% of the votes and 2AM’s Changmin with 12% at third place. Other than the top three, Big Bang’s Taeyang, 2NE1′s Park Bom and MBLAQ’s G.O were also among those who ranked on the list.

GG-TTS reveals Diet Secrets
Recently, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun (aka TaeTiSeo) guested on an episode of SBS E! “TV Cultwo Show” and revealed their dieting secrets, as well as stories about their daily lives. During the recording Taeyeon stated, “We eat ramen late at night,” which led the DJ to ask, “How do you maintain your figures?” The girls replied, “We don’t sleep after we eat.” Regarding Girls’ Generation’s rigorous diet, the girls dispelled the rumor by responding, “How can anyone survive on 900 calories.”
Additionally, it’s been said that Taeyeon mimicked tennis player Maria Sharapova and weightlifter Jang Miran, displaying her special talent for mimicking others.
TaeTiSeo’s episode of “TV Cultwo Show” will air on May 21 at 11AM KST on SBS E!.
