Earlier this morning, SBS “Good Morning” aired a short segment that introduced SM Entertainment’s new movie “I AM.” The program showed brief moments of SM artists like Seohyun, Yuri, YoonA, BoA, Eunhyuk, and others from their childhood and trainee days.

Viewers were especially drawn to Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun childhood photo, which proved the maknae’s unchanging beauty. Netizens commented, “She really didn’t change,” “Awww so pretty and cute,” “Kid Seohyun is adorable,” and more.

Girls’ Generation member Taeyeon remained humble when speaking of her own singing abilities.

On the May 7th airing of KBS 2FM‘s ‘Hong Jin Kyung’s 2:00‘, Taeyeon was asked if she thought her vocal talent ranked amongst the best.

Without any hesitation, the singer responded “No”, and explained, “There are so many people out there who sing extremely well.”

Fellow member Tiffany then joked, “If Taeyeon isn’t a good singer, then what does that make us?”, causing the humble Taeyeon to say, “I think maybe I’m just amongst the upper middle class?”

Listeners who tuned in remarked, “If Taeyeon isn’t a good singer, then who is?”, “She sings so well! Too humble,” and “Seeing how humble she is, I like her even better now!”

Seohyun taking care of Tiffany attracts attention

Girls’ Generation member Seohyun‘s “manner hands” towards Tiffany‘s skirt is becoming a hot topic in the online community.

Girls’ Generation unit group Taetiseo‘s members Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun appeared on the May 3rd broadcast of Mnet‘s ‘Wide Celebrity News‘ to promote their new album ‘Twinkle‘.

Specifically, on this day as the Taetiseo members were walking outside at CJ E&M‘s open studio, Seohyun noticed that Tiffany’s skirt was fluttering upwards due to the wind and naturally placed her hands on the skirt to prevent Tiffany’s undergarments from showing.

Is Girls’ Generation’s Yuri Really Fluent in French?

Shortly after the 15th episode of SBS drama “Fashion King” aired on May 7, Korean media was quick to dub Girls’ Generation’s Yuri as the next “intelligent” K-Pop star with both the looks and the brains.

Her new nickname was based on a scene in “Fashion King” where Yuri speaks in French over the phone. Sitting next to Yoo Ah In, Yuri says how good looking her boss is and promises to show him to the person on the phone tomorrow. Although it was a brief 20-second conversation, Korean press and netizens lauded the young idol star for her ability to “master” two foreign languages (English and French) in such a short period of time.

Netizens commented, “Of course, she’s our next biggest Hallyu star,” “I knew she could speak English, but now she’s fluent in French too,” and “Who knew she was this smart?”

But when we contacted our French sources for verification, their response wasn’t so positive. They said Yuri’s accent was “strange” and definitely “awkward,” adding, “It’s almost like us speaking in Korean.”
