On September 30th, Girls’ Generation appeared on “Count Down TV” in Japan, a late night music television program, as part of their promotions for their recent single, “Oh!”. Dressed in their white cheerleader uniforms, Girls’ Generation delivered a smooth and polished performance of their latest Japanese song for viewers tuning into the show.
Released on September 26th, Girls’ Generation’s fifth single placed highly on several sales charts and is still selling thousands of copies each day. Girls’ Generation will be continuing their promotions for the single tonight with another appearance on NHK-TV’s “MUSIC JAPAN” at 6:10 PM JST.

Girls’ Generation, Psy and more to perform at ‘GS & Concert’ on Oct 21st!
Kpop stars such as Girls’ Generation, Psy and Super Junior, who are creating a buzz around the world today, will be performing on the same stage soon.
On September 29th, GS & POINT stated, “A free concert called ‘GS & Concert’ that features performances from Psy, Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, Sistar, MBLAQ, etc will be held on October 21st at Jamsil Indoor Gymnastic Stadium.”
A representative of GS & POINT said, “Throughout the approximately 3-hour concert, the artists will not only be performing their respective hit songs but a great variety of passionate performances can be also expected.”
The application for the concert tickets can be made through the GS & POINT website (www.gsnpoint.com/concert) till October 10th and the recipients of the free tickets will be selected based on lucky draw, which will be announced on October 12th. The application can also be made at GS Caltex website (www.kixx.co.kr), GS25 website (gs25.gsretail.com) and GS SHOP webite (www.gsshop.com).

Sooyoung‘s role in tvN‘s drama ‘Third Hospital‘ has been earning favorable reviews from male viewers of the drama!
Sooyoung is currently playing the cute and spunky violist ‘Euijin’ in the drama, a character many viewers feel is like a breath of fresh air. A lot of interest has been focused on her particular style, as many fell in love with the natural look of her long, flowy hair or the feminine way in which she braided it to the side. Her simple blouses, knit sweaters, and knee-length skirts have also been noted for their clean, yet elegant look, as well as the way she’s able to give a feminine flair without the use of heels or other over the top styles.

Girls’ Generation to Perform at ‘SBS K-Pop Super Concert in America on November 10th
Girls’ Generation will be headed to California for the “SBS K-Pop Super Concert in America” on November 10th.
The concert had previously been scheduled for August 10th, but it had been indefinitely delayed. The concert is back on, and Girls’ Generation will be joined by other idol stars 2NE1, CNBLUE, B2ST, SISTAR, KARA, and 4Minute. “SBS K-Pop Super Concert in America” will be held at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, California, which seats approximately 15,000 people.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale starting October 4th.

Jessica cast as Elle Woods in the musical ‘Legally Blonde’ once again
Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica will be heading back to the musical stage for the first time in two years!
Jessica was recently cast as the role of Elle Woods in ‘Legally Blonde‘, which is expected to be an upgraded version of the musicals run in 2009 and 2010 under the same name. This time, however, the musical has been granted a Broadway license and is able to be run under the official title of ‘Legally Blonde’ instead of the Korean title it had previously run under.
Cast alongside Jessica for the role of Elle Woods also include A Pink‘s Eunji and Choi Woo Ri.
‘Legally Blonde’ will begin showing on November 16th through March 17th, 2013 at the COEX Atium Hyundae Art Hall. First round of tickets will open on October 9th!
